Brussels Expo, the world’s first COVID-SAFE exhibition venue!

Belgium, like the rest of Europe and the world, saw its event venues close in March.

To restart the events industry as quickly as possible, the Belgian authorities have decided to implement exceptional measures!

From June 20, Brussels Expo will be equipped with UV-C purifiers. “Highly effective against pathogenic organisms, including viruses and other diseases of bacterial origin”.

A technology usually used to disinfect hospital rooms, operating theatres, and even ambulances.

Denis Delforge, CEO of Brussels Expo, hopes that this decision will make it possible “to kick-start the recovery of the events sector, which has been in turmoil since March 19, while ensuring optimal health conditions for our clients, exhibitors, visitors, suppliers, partners and employees”.

Installation is scheduled to begin in June, and Brussels Expo’s spaces should be fully equipped by the end of the summer.
